1st DAY: São Luís/Barreirinhas

Departure from São Luís (transfer with time at your choice) to Barreirinhas. Approximate travel time: 1 hour flight, overflight included, arrival in Barreirinhas for check in and accommodation at the inn or hotel of your choice.

2ND DAY: CIRCUITO DUAS LAGOAS.
Breakfast.

We will leave Barreirinhas at 8:30 in passing through the vegetation towards Lagoa bonita where we will visit the best lagoons of the circuit and enjoy the wonderful view of the place. Before noon we will go to the restaurant next to Lagoa Azul where we will have a meal based on free shrimp and grilled fish. Return to Barreirinhas after sunset.

3rd day: BARREIRINHAS/PREGUIÇAS RIVER.

Breakfast
Departure starting at 8 AM for a speedboat ride through Rio Preguiças. During this trip it is possible to observe palm trees such as: Buriti, Juçara (açaí), Carnaúba, as well as tall and leafy Mangrove vegetation, which make the landscape very diversified. Visit to the communities of: Vassouras, where the Pequenos Lençóis are located; Mandacaru, in which a visit to the Preguiças Lighthouse, 35m high, will take place, providing a privileged view of the Grandes Lençóis, the mouth of the Rio Preguiças and Pequenos Lençóis. Next stop is Cabure, a pleasant place located in a peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Rio Preguiças, a perfect place for resting and having a nice swim in the sea or in the river. The place has good restaurants that are recommended for lunch (not included). Around 3pm we will return to Barreirinhas.

4TH DAY BARREIRINHAS /ATINS

Leave the hotel in a 4x4 vehicle in the direction of the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. It is necessary to cross the Rio Preguiças by a ferryboat to access the trail that takes us to the village of Atins. During the trip we will admire the small villages with their inhabitants and their simple and peaceful life in the midst of nature. We also saw part of the Morraria, the name given by the oldest residents of Barreirinhas to this wonderful natural monument of immense dunes. Upon arriving in Atins, we enjoy this picturesque fishing village, the mouth of the Preguiças River and the wonderful Atins Beach, which is practically deserted. Then we walked through the village to take the trail that takes us to the Canto do Atins. This blessed place is located between the sea and the dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses and has two famous restaurants: Restaurante da Luzia and Restaurante do Sr. Antônio's Restaurant. This fame is due to the delicious grilled shrimp they serve. A family recipe, where the secret is the seasoning, which is kept under lock and key. Besides the shrimp there are other options for meals. After visiting the Atins Corner we continue by car to the point that the ICMBio allows us, from this bridge on we continue the walk to the lagoons in the region during the full season. After enjoying the refreshing bath we return to the Corner where we have our lunch (not included). After the meal we take a break to rest and then return to Barreirinhas.

5TH DAY BARREIRINHAS/ SÃO LUIS

At the agreed time we will return to São Luís by air, a 45-minute flight.
